The Quantic Soul Orchestra "Pushin on" Album Review

Album Description
Sales Points: Will Holland keeps on with his musical mission under his Quantic Soul Orchestra guise with the follow up to the huge selling 'Stampede' album. Musically, the album has an energetic and dance floor friendly funk style with a sound ripe for the 21st Century. The album features long time collaborator Alice Russell on 'Hold On Tight', 'Feelin' Good', 'End Of The Road' and 'Pushin' On' (which has already been described by many as one the best "new" funk records ever). Mr. Holland was the first Tru Thoughts artist to work with Alice, and they always produce classic tracks whenever they join forces. Alice's performances clearly show why the major labels are now beginning to take an interest in this UK Soul Sensation (but hands off for now as she records her next album for Tru Thoughts to be released in September!). This is the 25-year-old producer's sixth album release and the quality of music keeps improving. Also features the highly in-demand cover version of Mr. Scruff's classic 'Get A Move On. Comes packaged in a digi-pak.Tru Thoughts. 2005.

Michael Jackson "Got to Be There" Album Review

Strong Start
This is a good beginning to Michael Jackson's solo career. "I Wanna Be Where You Are" is my favorite, and after reading a concert review from the early 70s it was the audience's favorite then too. It's timeless.

His cover of "Ain't No Sunshine" is great, and as an intro he talks about missing his girl. It's very cute when you think how young he was. Then of course there's "Got to Be There" which is a good song. Overall it's one of my favorite cds.

Whistle "Always and Forever" Album Review

A Must-Have for Old School Ballad Fans
This album has some of the best smooth jams from the early 90's. "Always and Forever" is a nice cover for Heatwave's original version, and "Whatever Happened To Us" is a nice slow jam if you're in the mood for something thought-provoking. "Right Next To Me" is definitely a top-notch slow jam for anyone that appreciates romantic music. Although some of their up-tempo songs aren't all that catchy, the whole album is pretty good to have in your collection.
