Melba Moore "A Very Special Christmas Gift" Album Review

I love this cd!!!
I picked up a used copy of this CD just this year because I have always like Melba Moore. It has become one of my favorite Christmas cds. I think it may have been a little ahead of its time when it was initially released. It is not a cd for those that like their Christmas songs sung in the usual traditional way. Melba infuses stong vocals with R&B and Gospel influences. I found it to be totally refreshing and emotionally moving.
For a change of pace from the usual, this was certainlly a welcome relief!

she's black female (gil scott heron)a rebel without a cause.Her music is her own.You can't catcgorize her.it's uniquely executed superbly. Ican't criticise any of outlandish.She's amodern day,Diana Ross.Listen to her voice.All recordings are great.Baduism is very good,my favorite:worldwide underground.
